Buffa Music (Buffa Audio Ltd) was founded in 2019 by Alexander Alford, a composer and recording engineer currently based in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, and previously based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand.
Alex is a graduate of The University of Auckland with a Master of Music (Composition) with First Class Honours, and is an active composer and arranger specialising in wind and brass ensemble music, including concert bands, brass bands, small ensembles, and orchestras.
Outside of composing, Alex is an educator and directs a number of ensembles in his local community.
He also provides recording, filming, photographic, streaming, composing, and arranging services across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
